La’Toya Dabney

Behavioral Health Manager

Prior to joining Allwel 2019, La’toya was a Program Supervisor for 5 years at a Day Habilitation program in Brooklyn. She also worked part-time as a Behavior Health Specialist for a HCBS child program. La’toya has worked in the social services field since graduating from college in 2002 with a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education and then graduating in 2009 with her master’s in psychology. La’toya started as a Service Coordinator in the clinical department and in October 2021 she joined the BH department as the Behavior Health Program Manager. She receives all BH referrals from those who are seeking HCBS and CORE services, assigning clients to providers, and important administrative task to keep the department running smoothly. La’toya has a passion for helping the most vulnerable population and ensuring their needs are met and going the extra mile for the participants. She is also very big on self-care and she makes time to do things that she enjoys, such as riding her bike, taking long walks with her dog, and indulging in seafood.
