Noah Cohen MA, LMSW

Clinical Supervisor

Noah has moved from Service Coordination to Clinical Supervisor in the NYC office. Noah has been with Allwel since 2017.

Noah started with Allwel in June 2017. Prior to his Allwel experience he was a Project Coordinator within the Department of Oncological Sciences at Mt. Sinai Hospital, as well as in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. The focus of his research was “minority health disparities”- at risk and underserved populations, with the purpose of connecting them to proper resources and care.

Since Noah began at Allwel he has managed a varying number of individuals in the Medicaid Waiver programs, helping them with their daily living tasks, including organizational skills, re-certifying for services and benefits, or getting help with a range of issues from anxiety to PTSD. Advocacy- helping the participant advocate for his own needs- is a big part of Noah’s role. His biggest satisfaction lies in being able to assist with making tangible changes in an individual’s life, and in witnessing the individual progress in achieving greater independence and thus becoming less dependent on services.

In his leisure time, Noah loves to travel and go to the beach. In addition he is a big Philadelphia sports fan from the Eagles to the Phillies and the 76ers.
